Probably not, although if they dress up as some of the animated characters I know of, that would be a very awkward situation.

Fortunately, I know of other furry fiction writers online (such as Kyell Gold, whose Substack I follow) and they have let me know about the conventions and conferences where they hang out.

Is it too late to change niches? Imagine if you ran with being an incel nazi and got huge, like super huge...what then? An expose from The Mirror detailing how un-nazi like you are and social media condemnig you as a fake nazi revealing all the work you do for charity and how polite and well respected you are? lol...that'll be a fun trip.

I write about anthropomorphic animals, and that genre is known as "furry fiction". It's a legitimate business and not to be confused with the fetishists who bring shame and disgrace on the name.
